NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAHING <br />PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF STREET TREE PROGRAM <br />ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-7.302. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority of Sections 2.019 and <br />7.280 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to amend Street <br />Tree Program Administrative Rule R-7.280 adopted by Administrative Order No. 58-96-23-F on <br />February 28, 1997,, to: <br />(a) Effect clerical and readability corrections to some of its provisions; <br />(b) Clarify language concerning the tree cost calculations; and <br />(c) Effect revisions that ensure compliance with newly adopted or amended <br />provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />The proposed amendments to Street Tree Program Administrative Rule R-7.280 are <br />necessary in order to ensure that the Program is implemented in a manner consistent with <br />provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971 and directives of the City Council. <br />-" All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or <br />~`~ - ' objections to Mark Snyder, Urban Forester, Public Works Department, 1820 Roosevelt <br />Boulevard, Eugene, Oregon 97401, in writing, within 15 days of the date of first publication <br />hereof, as indicated below.
