NOTICE OF INTENDED ADOPTION OF STREET AND POLE BANNER FEE SCHEDULE ~_ . To: The fillayor and Cify Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. NOTICE iS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to adopt the Street and Pole Banner Fee Schedule as follows: STREET AND POLE BANNER FEE SCHEDULE Street and/or Pole Banner Permit (authorizes installation of street and/or pole banners for up to 21 consecutive days per application) $37.45* Removal of Street or Pole Banner by City, actual costs incurred by the City in connection with the removal of a banner, including equipment costs and City personnel labor costs at the hourly rate in effect for the involved employee(s) at the time the services are performed, with a minimum charge of $75.00 *Includes a basic fee of $35.00 plus a 7% administrative charge. There are currently no fees being charged for the services noted above. The proposed fees were developed after a review of the City's costs, including salary, benefits, materials, supplies and indirect costs for the employees performing the services; are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City Council; comparable to fees established in other jurisdictions for providing such services; and are necessary in order to recover the City's costs from the beneficiaries of the services. Persons desiring to comment hereon shall submit written comments to the City's Public Works Department, Transportation Division, 858.. Pearl Street, Eugene, Oi;'egon 97401, within 15 days of the date of posting as shown below. The City Manager will consider the comments received and by administrative order adopt the fees as proposed herein or as modified in response to the comments received. James R.
