NOTICE OF ORDER PROPOSING THE RESTRICTION OF <br />MOTOR VEHICLE ACCESS TO SKINNER BUTTE PARK <br />BETWEEN 10:00 P.M. OF ONE DAY AND 7:30 A.M. OF THE <br />SUCCEEDING DAY. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Section1.003(2) <br />of the Park Rules as amended by Administrative Order No. 58-98-16-F on October 20, 1998, the <br />Executive Director of the Public Works Department of the City of Eugene, has issued an <br />Administrative Order proposing that: <br />The gate on the upper Skinner Butte Road (located near the intersection of <br />Skinner Butte Loop and Third Avenue) be closed, restricting vehicular access, <br />other than police vehicles or authorized City employees, between the hours of <br />10:00 p.m. of one day and 7:30 a.m. of the following day. <br />The proposed order would not limit the public's right of non-vehicular <br />access to the park between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. <br />The proposed action is necessary for the preservation of the health, welfare and safety of <br />the citizens of the City of Eugene, as supported by Findings C and D of the proposed order. <br />Persons desiring to comment hereon may submit written comments to the City's Public <br />Works Department, Maintenance Division, 1820 Roosevelt Boulevard, Eugene, Oregon 97402, <br />in writing, within fifteen (15) days of the date of publication and posting as indicated below The <br />Executive Director of the Public Works Department will thereafter adopt the Administrative Order <br />as proposed, or as amended in response to comments received, or decline to adopt any new order <br />on this subject. <br />CHRISTINE ANDERSEN, .EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />Date of Publication: <br />Date of Posting: <br />Notice <br />April 6, 1999, April 7, 1999, April 8, 1999, April 9, 1999, <br />April 10, 1999. <br />April 6, 1999 <br />r\adminord\adm\99gatenot. wpd(3/25/99) <br />
