NOTICE OF INTENDED FEES FOR <br />RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARING ZONE REGULATIONS SERVICES. <br />fib: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS .HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.020 of <br />the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to establish the <br />following fees to recover the cost of processing applications for designation of residential <br />permit parking zones or removal thereof, and issuance of permits: <br />Proposed Fee <br />Fee for processing applications for <br />residential permit parking zone designation ............... $ -0-* <br />Fee for processing applications for removal of <br />residential permit parking zone designation ............... $ 2Q00 ea/pamel <br />Permit fee for residential .permit parking zone .............. $15.00 per year <br />Transfer or ,replacement of permit ... .... ........ $ 1.00 <br />Temporary permits. (guest or absentee owner) .............. $ -0-* <br />*Although no fees are being established at this time, they may. be after further <br />program review. <br />Establishment of the above proposed fees is necessary in order to comply with <br />directives of the City Council that the cost of providing City services be recovered from the <br />user or beneficiaries of such services; the proposed fees are comparable to the fees <br />charged in other jurisdictions; reflect the personnel costs incurred by the City in performing <br />the services; .and it is in the public interest .and essential for the FY92 City Budget that <br />these proposed fees be established and implemented as .soon as possible. <br />Persons desiring to comment hereon shall submit written comments to the City <br />Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 within 15 days from the date of posting <br />as indicated below.
