R~CEIVE~ ~'E~ 17 f~g2
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 5~'`1Z-OS
of the
CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
Extending the Effective Date of
Emergency Rule R-5.040 -Establishing Residential
Permit Parking Zone Regulations
The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. Pursuant to the authority of Section 5.040 of the Eugene Code, 1971, which
authorizes the City Manager to establish parking zones or restrict parking upon the streets
of the City, and Section 2.019 of the Eugene Code, 1971, on August 15, 1991 I adopted
Emergency Rule R-5.040 -Establishing Residential Permit Parking Zone Regulations.
B. Emergency Rule R-5.040 will expire on February 14, 1992, and should be
extended for an additional 30-day period, during which time the rule will be processed for
adoption as a permanent rule.
C. The program being administered pursuant to Emergency Rule R-5.040 affects
the public welfare and safety, and the public interest will be prejudiced if the effective date
is not extended.
Now, therefore, based upon the above findings,
The effective date of Residential Permit Parking Zone Regulations Emergency Rule
R-5.040 is hereby extended to March 15, 1992, unless earlier replaced with a permanent
rule adopted in accordance with the procedures of Section 2.019 of the Eugene Code,
1971.
Dated this ~ day of February, 1992.
-~.
City N
Administrative Order
