R~CEIVE~ ~'E~ 17 f~g2 <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 5~'`1Z-OS <br />of the <br />CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />Extending the Effective Date of <br />Emergency Rule R-5.040 -Establishing Residential <br />Permit Parking Zone Regulations <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Pursuant to the authority of Section 5.040 of the Eugene Code, 1971, which <br />authorizes the City Manager to establish parking zones or restrict parking upon the streets <br />of the City, and Section 2.019 of the Eugene Code, 1971, on August 15, 1991 I adopted <br />Emergency Rule R-5.040 -Establishing Residential Permit Parking Zone Regulations. <br />B. Emergency Rule R-5.040 will expire on February 14, 1992, and should be <br />extended for an additional 30-day period, during which time the rule will be processed for <br />adoption as a permanent rule. <br />C. The program being administered pursuant to Emergency Rule R-5.040 affects <br />the public welfare and safety, and the public interest will be prejudiced if the effective date <br />is not extended. <br />Now, therefore, based upon the above findings, <br />The effective date of Residential Permit Parking Zone Regulations Emergency Rule <br />R-5.040 is hereby extended to March 15, 1992, unless earlier replaced with a permanent <br />rule adopted in accordance with the procedures of Section 2.019 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971. <br />Dated this ~ day of February, 1992. <br />-~. <br />City N <br />Administrative Order <br />
