ADMIlYISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-96- ~~ <br />of the <br />AIRPORT MANAGER <br />CONCERNING NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVISION ~'O AIRPORT <br />FEE SCHEDULE. <br />The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the Ciry of Eugene under Sections 2.440 to 2.442 <br />of the Eugene. Code, 1971 to set fees and charges for the use of the Eugene Airport. The Ciry Manager has <br />further delegated that authority to the Airport Manager undo Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br />B. Pursuant to that delegated authority the Airport Manager issued Administrative Order No. S6- <br />96-12-F on June 20,1996 adopting a revised Airport Fee Schedule. After investigating the fees charged at other <br />airports, the City's policies on recovery of user fees, and the revenue needs of the Eugene Airport, I have <br />determined that the Airport Fee Schedule should be revised by: (1) changing the designation of section 2 to <br />Nonsignatory/Sig~natorylUnschedulod Airlines, deleting the ramp fee'therein, and increasing the Gatc/hold room <br />and counter fee; {2) amending section 3 to reilcet when the requirement for payment of storage/parl:ing fees <br />becomes effective; (3) revising the terminal building rental rates in section S; (4) adding a signatory jet bridge <br />rental fee; (S) r+cvising the Old Tower building lease fcc; and (6) adding a hazardous substaacc response fee, all <br />asset forth in the Notice of Intended Fees attached as Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />On the basis of these findings, I order that <br />1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the gersons who have requested notice, persons currently <br />paying such charges, posted at two locations at the Airport, published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of <br />general circulation within the City and be made available for interested persons at the o~ccs of the Airport <br />Manager, 28SSS Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:40 p.m., <br />Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />Z., All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth in the <br />:Notice.
