The condition of the pavement makes it difficult to perform long <br />• lasting repairs. Despite the numerous. repairs, the easterly section still has a many potholes. <br />K. Improving the easterly section would require assessing adjacent property owners <br />for the cost of the project. Property owners are opposed to street improvements. <br />1 <br />L. Prohibiting trucks in excess of 1b,000 pounds GVW on the easterly section of <br />Stewart Road will prolong the useful life of the roadway and still allow. access to <br />adjacent properties. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based on the. above fmdings, and pursuant to the authority contained in Eugene Code <br />5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br />Through truck movements shall be prohibited on Stewart Road; and <br />All vehicles exceeding 16,000.
