~„ .. <br />,~ _~ <br />i <br />sg~3'~-t.~1 <br />Administrative Order <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br />Removing Parking on and Widening <br />Jefferson Street between 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. The Eugene Code provides thatthe City Manager or the manager'-s designee shall <br />exercise specific traffic duties by administrative action, including: <br />- Implementing ordinances, resolutions, and motions of the Council <br />and his or her own orders by installing traffic control devices; <br />- Altering traffic control areas and traffic control devices including; <br />• Traffic control signals, signs, and pavement markings, <br />• Crosswalks and traffic lanes, <br />• Intersection channelization, and - <br />• Parking, areas; and <br />B. .The May 1994 Lane County Fairgrounds Master Plan recommends that Jefferson <br />Street at i3th Avenue be a major gateway into the Fairgrounds; and <br />C. An new entrance road into the Fairgrounds, located'south of 13th Avenue at <br />Jefferson Street, will be built before the beginning of the Lane County Fair on <br />August 18, 1996; and <br />D.
