Regional Wastewater SDCs For All Existing'Development
Regional Wastewater SDCs For Existing .Single-Family DweNin~s and
Duplex Development
For existing single-family dwellings, the regional wastewater SDC collected
is;equal to the rate. for one EDU: For all duplex development, the regional
wastewater SDC collected is equal to two times the rate for one EDU.
' Regional Wastewater SDCs For All Other Existing Development with
Annual Average Daily Flow less than 100,000 Gallons
Foradministrative convenience, rather han verifying by physical inspection
the' number of .plumbing fixture units in an .:existing development -that is
.connecting to the wastewater system for the .first time, the regional
wastewater SDC collected shall be determined by using the average historic
winter water. consumption .for the existing development. The existing
development's historic consumption. is calculated by averaging the actual
- winterwater consumption, in gallons, for the preceding months of December
through April, dividing the resulting number by 1,000, and multiplying by the
rate for historic consumption. The rate for historic consumption (per 1,000. .
gallons) is based on an assumed typical. single-family dwelling average
winter water consumption of 6,000- gallons per month....
Regional Wastewater SDCs For All Other Existing .Development with
Annual Average Daily Flowfqual to or Greater than 70.0,000 Gallons
For existing development with measured annual average daily flow equal to
or greater than 100,000 gallons of water discharged, the regional
wastewater SDC collected is equal to the total amount of water being
discharged per. day, divided by the EDU standard 200 gallons per day,
multiplied by the rate for orte EDU. The regional wastewater SDC charge
will be based on the greater of calcula#ions using either the. City
methodologies oi- the current MWMC Equalization Fee.. charge..
4. ,Regional Wastewater Administrative Charge
A further adjustment to the regional wastewater SDC is the addition of -
administrative costs: MWMC will: incur staff costs for the tipdating and processing
of the charge. These costs would be applied on a per connection basis. The
.administrative cost per permit is calculated, based. on estimated administrative
costs and future connections. The Regional Wastewater Administrative Charge per
permit is applied to the total SDC fees after all other charges.and credits have been
applied.
Exhibit B to Administrative Order.
