EC 7.295 (2) <br />2.D.2 Plans and Drawings <br />Applications for a permit shall be accompanied by such drawings, surveys or plans as <br />deemed necessary by the City Engineer. The plans, and/or <br />.drawings shill be to scale both vertically and horizontally and designs#e with accurate <br />dimensions the portion of the public way proposed to be used and the work zone within <br />the public way. The work zone shall be considered to include 10 feet at a minimum <br />around the perimeter of the proposed excavation or facility placement and shall include" <br />staging and material storage areas within the public way. The plans shall show accurate <br />locations of curbs, sidewalks and driveways within the. proposed work zone... <br />If the critical root zone of a street tree is located within the proposed work zone, the <br />applicant shall so indicate on the permit application, and the plans shall accurately depict <br />the areas of the work zone which may impact street trees, along with the size and location <br />of each tree within such areas. The critical root zone for trees 3 inches or smaller in <br />caliper shall be an area with a radius of at least 3 feet from the trunk.
