Section 6.411 (formerly Section 7.020) of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorizes the City
Manager to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for wastewater service,
regional wastewater service, and stormwater service.
B. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on September 14, 1999 I issued
Administrative Order No. 58-99-20 proposing an increase in MWMC septage user fees a`s set forth
in the Notice attached thereto, and the revision of the rates adopted by Administrative Order No. 58-
98-11-F.
C. Copies of the Notice were provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, the news
media, any person who had requested notice, and posted at two locations at City Hall on September
19, 1999. The Notice was also published on September 19 and September 22, 1999 in the Register
Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and made available for inspection by
interested persons at the offices of the Eugene/Springfield Regional Water Pollution Control Facility,
410 River Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97404, during normal business hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays).
