Federal Funds (FED) <br />Source: Funds from the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA) <br />administered by the Federal Highway Administration.. <br />Projects using these funds must meet the criteria established in .ISTEA, including the <br />requirement of matching funds from local sources. These projects include improvements to <br />the street system to address all modes. of transportation,. and certain off-street improvements <br />such as bike paths.... <br />Lane County Road Funds (Lane County) <br />Source: Funds from Lane County directed to specific projects. <br />Projects using these funds are either programmed in the Lane County CIP or are provided to <br />the City through intergovernmental agreements for specific road projects. These funds are in <br />addition to the Eugene/Lane County Road Partnership Agreement, which are shown in the CIP <br />as Eugene Road Fund resources <br />State of Oregon (ODOT) <br />Source: Oregon State Department of Transportation funds; <br />Other State agencies. <br />Funding provided by the State of Oregon for State projects or for projects receiving State <br />grants. <br />Urban Renewal Agency -Downtown Capital Projects Fund (URA-CEP) <br />Source: Tax increment financing in the downtown Urban Renewal District; <br />Other financing leveraged through resources for the Urban Renewal District. <br />The CIP reflects proposed capital projects anticipated in the downtown urban renewal district. <br />Possible projects include parking facilities to support new development, improvements to the <br />mall public space, and site improvements in support development. The exact timing and <br />nature of the projects are unknown.
