~i~~r ~~~` ~~.,~~C~ <br />The City of Eugene Wastewater Division <br />operates and mantains the Regional Water <br />Pollution Control Facility (treatment plant), <br />the Biosolids Management Facility, the <br />Beneficial Reuse Sites, and the regional <br />wastewater pumping stations and transmission <br />sewers. The Wastewater Division also <br />manages major equipment replacement and <br />infrastructure rehabilitation programs as well <br />as Industrial Pretreatment (in conjunction <br />with Springfield staff) and laboratory services. <br />Three City of Eugene representatives are <br />appointed to serve on the MWMC. ;, <br />~.r <br /> <br />The City of Springfield provides MWMC <br />administration, including: legal and risk <br />management services; financial management <br />and accounting; budget and rate development; <br />billing and customer service; public policy <br />development; intergovernmental <br />coordination; public information, education, <br />and citizen involvement programs. <br />Springfield also provides long-range capital <br />planning, design and construction <br />management, and manages Industrial <br />Pretreatment (in conjunction with Eugene <br />staff). Two City of Springfield representatives <br />are appointed to serve on the MWMC. <br /> <br />Lane County supports the intergovernmental <br />partnership tlu-ough active participation of its <br />two appointed members to MWMC. <br />
