Where is the $ going?
• Anonymous: Encourages full funding of the East Bank/Delta Ponds path Enhancement pro-
ject. This would provide connectivity from the Cal Young area to the riverfront multi-use
trail system for alternative transport. (This comment was passed on to Pat Fisher, Manager
of the Transportation Enhancement Program, as input on which Enhancement proposals
would be put into the STIP.)
• Anonymous: Supports completion of the I-5/Beltline project (Key 14314), but also encour-
ages additional funding for Gateway/Beltline intersection. The Beltline @ Coburg Road in-
terchange should be completed as well as the I-5 bridge upgrades.
• Anonymous: Requests that more accommodations for bicyclists be put on state highways,
especially Territorial Highway, OR99 from Eugene to Creswell and Franklin Boulevard in
Eugene.
E-Mail Comments Received:
• Joan Mariner, President, Neighbors 4 Responsible Growth: Concerned about the traffic vol-
ume and problems on OR126 east of Eugene. Suggests exploring using the rail line for light
rail between Eugene and Veneta and the development of alternate routes on existing roads.
• Debora Eichelberger: Requests a traffic signal in Florence on US 1 O l at 30th Street.
Page 370
