Park improvements will include an irrigated play field for informal, non-programmed use, a
children's playground, new pathways, many new trees, and park amenities such as benches, tables, and trash
receptacles. To supplement the project, the Kiwanis Club of Eugene assisted with the installation of park
furniture. A park dedication celebration is scheduled for August 24.
