Exhibit A to Administrative Order No. 58-04-04 <br />NOTICE OF INTENDED INFLATIONARY ADJUSTMENT OF SYSTEMS <br />DEVELOPMENT CHARGES FOR LOCAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM, <br />STORMWATER SYSTEM, AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM. <br />To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to <br />amend portions of the Systems Development Charges by implementing a 5.0% inflationary increase <br />to both the local wastewater system and transportation system, and a 4.3% inflationary increase to <br />the stormwater system, effective Apri15, 2004, as set forth in Attachment 1 hereto. <br />The proposed inflationary adjustments are based onthe nationa120-city average Construction <br />Cost Index as published by the Engineering News-Record and are consistent with adopted policies <br />of the City; authorized by Section 7.710(5) of the Eugene Code, 1971, and are in conformity with <br />''~~ ° applicable state law. <br />Persons desiring to comment on the proposed adjustments shall submit written comments <br />to the CityEngineer, Public Works Department, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, within 15 <br />days from the date of publication as indicated below. After the expiration of the comment period, <br />the City Manager will consider the comments received, and adopt the increases as proposed, or as <br />modified in response to the comments received. Upon adoption, the final Administrative Order and <br />amended fees shall be appended to the Systems Development Charge Methodologies. <br />Dennis M.
