SERVICE EQUIPMENT continued <br />nections shall be made prior to any fuel transfer and shall not <br />be disc,,onxected until transfer operations are completed. <br />"~` (g) Fueling hoses and defueling equipment shall be maintained in <br />a safe, sound and non-leaking condition, <br />(h): Fuel will. not be transferred from one gasoline tank truck to <br />.. ~ another, within 100 feet of any building, open flame, spark- <br />ing device, source os ignitions or group of people. <br />3.~ AIRCRAFT> <br />(a) No aircraft shall be fueled or defueled while the engine is <br />running, or being warmed up by applications of exterior heat, <br />or while such aircraft is in a-hangar or enclosed space. <br />_(b) No person shall operate any radio transmitter or receiver, or <br />switch electrical appliances off: or on, in atr aircraft du~+ing <br />fueling or defueling. <br />(c) No person shall .start the engine of any aircraft when there <br />is any gasoline on the ground under such aircraft, <br />(d) No aircraft will be fueled or defueled when there are people <br />aboard unless there is an attendant at the door and a passenger <br />loading stand in place at the cabin entrance ' <br />?~. BULK PLANTSa <br />(a) Under no circumstances will a tank motor vehicle be left un- <br />attended at a bulk plant during-the loading and unloading <br />.processes, Loading and unloading shall not be considered <br />complete until the delivery hose is detached from vehicle and <br />tankso <br />(b) Every tank motor vehicle must have the tank grounded and the <br />,..nozzle grounded before loading or unloading, <br />(c) Persons or companies using any bulk plant are responsible for <br />keeping yards free of weeds and for a distance of 3 feet out- <br />side the yard fences. Yards will be kept free oftrash and <br />other debris at all times. <br />{d) Care will be taken in filling tanks at bulk plant to allow for <br />heat expansion, and not filled to the point-where they will <br />overflow from heat expansion, <br />(e) A11 loading platforms and-fill nozzles wil¢1. be equipped with <br />.proper grounding clamps and flexible cables, <br />-11- <br />
