Y <br />7.9 Hangars. <br />7.9.1 location. Hangars-may be located only in specially desig- <br />nated areas shown in the Airport Layout Plan .and Airport Master Plan for <br />hangar sites or T-hangar sites. <br />7.9.2 Compatibility of Design and Construction. Hangars located <br />in the area used for T-hangars. must be similar in appearance to the <br />existing T-hangars and contain a minimum of ten (10) hangar units, space <br />permitting. These hangars shal,i be sheathed in metal with non-gloss <br />.colored baked enamel finish over minimum .spangle galvanized steel meet- <br />ing ASTM A446 Standard. The baked enamel is to be a minimum of one mil <br />or greater in thickness. Roofs shall be galvanized metal with a baked <br />enamel finish meeting ASTM A446 Standard.- Construction shall be in <br />accordance with applicable building, plumbing, mechanical-and electrical <br />codes of the City of Eugene. <br />7.9.3 Approval of Plans. Plans and specifications for hangars <br />shall be approved by the Airport Manager and the City Building Official <br />.prior to applying for a building permit. Hangars in the non-.commercial <br />...area may be constructed as rental hangars. The renter shall not use <br />these hangars for any commercial purpose and shall limit the use to <br />storage of aircraft. <br />7.9.4 Uses. Noncommercial hangars-may not be used for commercial <br />. purposes except to sublease space-for storage of aircraft and the man- <br />tenance and repair of.the aircraft stored in that hangar. <br />7.10 Specialized Commercial Aeronautical Activities. <br />.7.10.1 Definition. Persons or operators desiring to engage in <br />-: specialized commercial aeronautical activities, including but not <br />limited to those listed in 7.10.1.:1, must submit. an application that <br />addresses the items listed in 7.10.1.2 below. <br />7.10.1.1 Specialized Commercial Aeronautical Activities <br />shall include, but are not limited to, the following:. <br />7.10.1.1.1 Non-stop sightseeing flights within <br />a 25-mile radius that begin and end at the same airport; <br />_~; <br />7.10.1.1.2 Aerial photography and survey; <br />7.10.1.1.3 Aerial fire fighting; <br />7.10.1.1.4 Power line or pipeline patrol; <br />7.10.1.1.5 Any other operations specifically <br />excluded from Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. <br />7.10.1.2 Applications to provide Specialized Aeronautical <br />Rules - 33 <br />
