Management Practices Self-Assessment <br /> All City departments have diversity committees. The City's Diversity Consultant serves as a liaison to the <br /> committees. The city wide Diversity Advisory Council (DAC) is composed of Chairs of all Diversity <br /> Committees (Public Works has two DAC members), Human Rights and Human Resource Staff, Union <br /> Representatives, and Executive and Division Manager liaisons. <br /> The Public Works Diversity Committee (PWDC) meets once a month and is made up of representatives <br /> rk lace. <br /> from each division. The goal of the PWDC is to promote a harassment and discrimination-free wo p <br /> We recognize and honor a diversity of viewpoints, cultures, and life experiences. The Kaleidoscope is a <br /> newsletter published by the PWDC for the employees of Public Works. It is a reflection of diversity in <br /> Public Works, keeps employees informed about what the PWDC is doing, and lets them know of upcoming <br /> <br /> i <br /> cultural events.
