Defines employment rela~ions as matters concerning direct or indirect monetary <br /> benefits, hours, vacation, sick leave, grievance procedures, and other conditions of <br /> employment <br /> - calls for ERB to do a balancing test between employer and employee impact to <br /> decide whether, other issues are mandatory or permissive subjects of bargaining <br /> -lists some enumerated subjects that are permissive -staffing, assignments, <br /> evaluations, qualifications and selection criteria for jobs, reasonable dress and <br /> grooming standards, reasonable standards of conduct (from SB750) <br /> 6. Defines Unfair Labor Practices <br /> <br /> i -not bargaining in good faith; must meet at reasonable times and try to reach an <br /> agreement through negotiations <br /> -discriminate against union activity <br /> - interfere with employees' right to unionize <br /> - not follow statutes <br /> 7.
