MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> behveen <br /> The City of Eugene <br /> . and <br /> ~ ~ AFSCME, Local 1724 <br /> I <br /> ~ - The City and the Union mutually agree to the following application of Article 14.1 of the current <br /> contract: - <br /> The following provisions will be applied to employees who are eligible for AIC pay in <br /> accordance with the contract under article 14.1: <br /> - <br /> ~ When an employee is designated to work an acting-in-capacity (AIC) assignment for <br /> more than one (1) full pay period, his/her base rate of pay will be adjusted and he/she will <br /> j - receive AIC pay for all paid hours during the duration of the assignment, unless the <br /> j employee works extra hours or overtime unrelated to the AIC assignment. <br /> I <br /> i <br /> If an employee is designated to work in an AIC assignment for one pay period or less, <br /> he/she will receive AIC pay for all hours worked in the AIC capacity and any paid leave . <br /> during the assignment that is less than a day.
