Project Review
At approximately 6 months prior to the expiration of the contract, the City and the
Union form their negotiation teams, with a specific number of representatives from
both sides. The roles are defined, a schedule is set, and ground rules are agreed
upon. A complete record of the bargaining process is kept as a reference
document for managers.
The Human Resource Division Manager ascertains input and feedback prior to
beginning bargaining as to issues to be addressed from all supervisors and
managers. Mid-session updates are provided to supervisors and managers. The
City Manager and the City's Executive Management Team establish the
parameters for bargaining. The City's Chief Negotiator is given significant authority
to negotiate the contract, however, she does check in with the City Manager and
Executive Managers throughout bargaining.
Actions to Comply:
Evaluator Suggestions:
Evaluator Requirements:
Evaluator Nofe:
Project Manager's Signature: 1'!
