MEMORANDUM <br /> OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING <br /> BETWEEN <br /> j THE CITY OF EUGENE <br /> i ~ AND <br /> ~ AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY & MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES <br /> The American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the City of <br /> <br /> ~ Eugene agree that Rob Wilhite, a current non-represented employee, may be placed in a position <br /> that is represented by AFSCME and remain anon-represented employees. Mr. Wilhite will have <br /> the option of either joining the Union or remaining non-represented as long as he remains in a <br /> represented position with the City. <br /> The City agrees to pay the Union the sum of $1350.00 to compensate them for their loss of dues. <br /> Should Mr. Wilhite remain anon-represented employee in a represented position three (3) years <br /> from the date of tlus agreement, the City agrees to negotiate additional compensation with the <br /> Union. <br /> The City a~'ees_topost_ two _L~ future Pro~ram~ecialis~ostions_internally oaer the text y_ea~, <br /> if available, to allow for promotional opportunities.
