;i
? CTP funds are used to pay for required city-wide classes, training
materials, videos etc., for employees
? Some optional classes may have a share cost to the departments, but the
shared cost is minimal to our employees and is done in an effort to extend
the training dollars to more class options. In many cases, only materials
are charged back to departments.
? Denise has opened up some optional classes to other government agencies.
They are charged a fee to participate and therefore share the cost of the
~ class with the City.
? The guidelines for CTP funds and class charges was accepted by the
group, to be revisited as necessary
l
• Brief discussion about supervisor/manager requirements and curriculum -
Denise Smith
? There is a separate advisory group that will work on the pilot made up of
some Executives and the DMPG group. Their work starts in May.
?
