i
Salary Range Adjustments for Position Reclassification-(APPM Sections 3-500 & 3-425)
If your position is classified upward to a higher salary range, your salary rate will be adjusted to
the nearest step that provides at least aone-step increase. You cannot be placed lower than
the first step or above the top step of the new range. Your merit review date is moved forward
twelve (12) months from the effective date of your reclassification. If the reclassification is to a
lower salary range, there is either no impact on your salary or your salary is red-circled. There
j is no new probationary period when an employee is reclassified.
Pay day
You will usually be paid every other Friday.' If the normal pay day falls on a holiday, pay day will
be on Payroll's last workday preceding the normal pay day. Emergency draws against your
~ earned salary are restricted to a severe emergency and requires the approval of your
~ supervisor.
I
i
i
I
I
~I

~I
Page 16
I~'i -
