ADVANCE DEPOSIT OPTION <br />OPTION 1 CASH <br />Local Agency will make their check in the prescribed amount payable to the <br />Oregon Department of Transportation and send it to Financial Services, 355 <br />Capitol Street NE, Room 434, Salem, Oregon, 97310 to the attention of Cash <br />Receipts Technician. <br />OPTION 2 LETTER OF CREDIT <br />Local Agency will obtain an irrevocable letter of credit from a bank, savings <br />bank, trust company or saving association, and send it to Financial Services, 355 <br />Capitol Street NE, Room 434, Salem, Oregon, 97310 to the attention of Diane <br />Galida. <br />Note <br />The Local Government share of the estimated cost must at all times be <br />covered by some form of advanced deposit. We may ask the Local <br />Government to extend a letter of credit upon its expiration or they may <br />choose to replace the balance of an expired letter of credit with either c <br />____ _ <br />or a eposif~iri t~iel,oeal Government Investment Pool. <br />Local Agency will wire prescribed amount from their bank to the State <br />aaa.vouu~au 1 VVl. LVGIIl <br />Agency will furnish Financial Services an irrevocable limited power of attorney <br />and a confirmation of deposit of funds to Financial Services, 355 Capitol Street <br />NE, Room 434, Salem, Oregon, 97310 to the attention of Diane Galida. (Sample <br />attached) <br />1~6e~1~1gency wi 1 receive einterest which. is credited daily and posted monthly. <br />A monthly statement will be furnished by the State Treasurer, showing <br />transactions and accrued interest. <br />Note: If a blanket power of attorney has been previously submitted, Local <br />Agency will furnish a copy of the confirnation of deposit of funds to the <br />Local Government Investment Pool to Financial Services. <br />
