Can you (and the rest of you folks). check this letter over for factual <br />inaccuracies, or negligent simplification? I was not 100% sure in t e way represen a ih's matted wanted-to <br />run it by y'all. I don't have an e-version of the letter this is responding to, but in short, DeFazio is asking us to <br />', account for the $$$'s spent from TEA-21 funds dedicated to Train Station acquisition/renovation and Fern Ridge <br />', Bike path extension. Peter is worried that unobligated dollars are at risk to be "taken back" or credibility to acquire <br />future $$$'s for projects, including the Train station, will be strained if we don't dispose of those $$$'s on a swift <br />timeline. Reauthorization of TEA-21 draws near (Congress has already held a few hearings) in a 1 year window, <br />and that could always be sooner. <br />Thanks so much! <br />Jason <br />1 <br />
