Comparison of actual accomplishments with milestones listed in Technical Assessment Question <br /> <br /> ~ 5 of the Proposal <br /> Table 2 summarizes our accomplishments to date and the milestones listed in our proposal using the <br /> NAWCA funds. In our proposal, we indicated that we would use NAWCA funds to purchase fee title to <br /> 382.9 acres. These acres would be from the Lee, Marvin, and Sadri CC parcels. Very soon after being <br /> awarded the NAWCA grant funds, we successfully purchased the Lee and Marvin parcels (these <br /> transactions closed in August, 2002). The City of Eugene now holds fee title to-those parcels. <br /> On Apri13, 2003, I wrote you to request a modification to our proposal to use $44,300 of the NAWCA <br /> funds to help purchase a 133-acre conservation easement on the Decker property. The modification <br /> request included using these 133 acres in lieu of 133 acres of fee title acquisition. You approved these <br /> requests in writing on Apri125, 2003. The conservation easement transaction closed on November 19, <br /> 2003. The conservation easement is held by the McKenzie River"Trust. <br /> We need a minimum of 178.18 acres of additional fee title acquisition to meet our milestones from the_ <br /> Proposal. We continue to work on negotiations for fee title acquisition of Sadri CC (308.9 acres), <br /> Estergard (150 acres), and Breeden (183 acres) parcels. With one ar more of these acquisitions, we will <br /> meet or exceed the acreage milestones in our Proposal. <br /> Table 2.
