AGREEMENT NUMBER: HAA031M00 <br /> STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> TASK ORDER HAF031M01 <br /> 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> The City of Eugene (CITY) will implement restoration on a small portion (6.5 <br /> acres) of TheNature Conservancy's (TNG) Willow Creek Natural Area as <br /> detailed in the Willow Corner Mitigation Improvement Plan. The Willow Corner <br /> project involves land owned by both TNC and the CITY, which are partners with <br /> the BLM in the West Eugene Wetlands Program. This Task Order will cover <br /> work on the TNC's portion of the site only. The work will involve: (a) the <br /> removal of fill material from the site, (b) the clearing of existing vegetation that is ' <br /> growing on the fill material, (c) final grading of the site to prepare it for re- <br /> seeding with native species, (d) collection of native seed for distribution on the <br /> site, and (e) planting the seed. The majority of this work will be conducted by a <br /> contractor hired by the CITY: <br /> 1.1 Access/Location <br /> The Willow Corner site is located at the corner of 18a' Street and Bertelsen <br /> Avenue in Eugene, Oregon. The CITY owns 6.1 acres of the site, and the <br /> remaining 6.5 acres is owned by TNC. The site is accessible by paved roads, but <br /> access within the sites will be limited to temporary access paths approved by the <br /> TNC and CITY. <br /> 1.2 Work Hours <br /> If specific work hours or start/stop times are required, for a project, they will be <br /> specified via the work'request and/or during the pre-work meeting.-.. <br /> 1.3 Site Security <br /> The CITY and its contractor may leave their equipment at the work site. <br /> However, the Government will not be responsible for the CTTY's equipment or <br /> the CTTY's contractor's equipment if it should become lost, stolen, or damaged. <br /> <br /> 1.4 Fire Precautions <br /> 1.4.1 All state fire laws will be followed. <br /> ' Specific requirements for~fire equipment may vary by local fire district.
