5.1 Participate as a member in an interdisciplinary team (IDT) to develop alternatives and <br /> prepare an environmental assessment for restoration activities within the West Eugene <br /> Wetlands and adjacent lands (Long Tom ACEC, Fir Butte, Hansen etc). <br /> 5.2 Survey for, and monitoring of, special status plant species, including Federally listed <br /> species. These botanical species may include the following: Willamette daisy, <br /> Bradshaw's lomatium, white-topped aster, shaggy horkelia, and Kincaid's lupine. <br /> 5.3 Inventory and recommend control measures for non-native vegetation, on both wetland <br /> and upland sites where monitoring of special status species occurs. Management actions <br /> conducted for that year shall be documented in the report for each site. <br /> 5.4 Prepare reports related to monitoring, plant surveys, management, and site restorations. <br /> 5.5 Prepare and/or implement site restoration plans that may include prescribed fire, seeding, <br /> weeding, grading, fill removal, and planting. <br /> 5.6 Completion of miscellaneous duties related to the management of the West Eugene <br /> Wetland Partnership including literature review, budget preparation, and property <br /> acquisition review. Participates as a member of the Field Operations Group (FOG). <br /> 5.7 Direct work crews to accomplish botanical related tasks as identified in the previous <br /> items. <br /> 6.0 PRODUCT/DELIVEABLES <br /> A written report that includes rare plant monitoring results for BLM sites (North <br /> Greenhill & Turtle Swale). The report will include graphs and tables relating to the <br /> monitoring results. Some graphs will depict precipitation and/or management actions. <br /> Management actions shall also be included in the report for each site. <br /> 7.0 PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE <br /> 7.1 Start Work Date: October 1, 2004 <br /> 7.2 Completion Date: The completion date is on or before September 30, 2005, or at such <br /> time that the Not-To-Exceed value of the agreement has been reached. <br /> <br /> 8.0 PAYMENT <br /> Payment will be in accordance with Section XII - "Payments," of the Assistance <br /> Agreement. The agreed-upon amount between City of Eugene and BLM will be $14,500 <br /> for the work period. Work will continue until such time as the amount of the task order is <br /> exhausted. <br /> <br />
