Jurisdictional Transfer No. 777 <br /> JURISDICTIONAL TRANSFER DOCUMENT <br /> <br /> i <br /> OR 126 BUS: Washington Street -.Walnut Street <br /> M.P. 123.30/M.P. 123.37 to M.P. 125.48 Section <br /> Pacific Highway West, State Highway No. 1W (91) <br /> City of Eugene <br /> Pursuant to ORS 373.010, the Oregon Transportation Commission is authorized and directed, <br /> whenever the route of any state highway passes through the corporate limits of any city, to <br /> select or designate the streets of the city over which the state highway shall be routed, or <br /> change such routing when in its opinion the interests of the motoring public will be better <br /> served. <br /> Pursuant to ORS Chapters 366.395 and 373.015, the State may transfer its interest to any of its <br /> property not needed by it for highway purposes to any other governmental body or political <br /> .subdivision within the. State of Oregon, subject to such restrictions, if any, imposed by deed or <br /> other legal instrument or otherwise imposed by State. <br /> Pursuant to ORS190.110 and ORS 366.576, the State may enter into any agreement with any. <br /> -city for the relocation of any highway. <br /> The Washington Street (M.P. 123.30 on 6th Avenue and M.P. 123.37 on.7th Avenue) to Walnut <br /> Street (M.P. 125.48) Section of the Pacific Highway West, State Highway No. 1 W (91 is no <br /> .longer needed for state highway purposes and has been eliminated by departmental resolution <br /> as a portion of the Pacific Highway West. The segment eliminated from the highway is <br /> designated as Unit A, as more fully described below, and as shown on the map attached hereto <br /> marked Exhibit A and by this reference made a part hereof. Unit A is needed for the service of <br /> persons living thereon or for a community served thereby. <br /> The City of Eugene and the Oregon Transportation Commission entered into an agreement on <br /> July 27, 2006, relating to the elimination, disposition, maintenance and repair of Unit A.
