You may begin design work right away. You will soon be sent an agreement for the <br /> project. The agreement will contain the following requirements: <br /> 1 < The first half of the grant $35,600 will be available as soon as the agreement is fully <br /> executed. <br /> 2. Plans must be submitted to the local District office and Bicycle and Pedestrian Program <br /> <br /> - Office for approval before any construction work begins. The standazds of the Oregon <br /> Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan should be met. We may suggest some modifications to the <br /> design you submitted in your proposal. <br /> 3. Construction work must begin by June 1, 2003 and be completed November 30, 2003. <br /> 4. Final payment will be released upon completion of the project and inspection by the Bicycle <br /> . and Pedestrian Program office or an ODOT representative. <br /> Please do not start work on the project until you have received the agreement and all copies have <br /> been signed. This process should be completed by Mazch 31, 2003. <br /> This project will serve local pedestrians well.
