HAF041M05 <br /> 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> 1.1 General <br /> The City of Eugene will collect seed of native plants from wetland, upland prairie, and <br /> oak savanna habitats in the west Eu ene area for use in ow-out o erations. The Cit <br /> g p Y <br /> ma also urchase and lant native seed and ro agated lants for use in restoration and <br /> Y p p P P p <br /> rehabilitation projects. <br /> 1.2 Access/Location <br /> All.work areas will be at Government-approved sites. Access to sites is via all-weather <br /> roads. All sites are located in the West Eugene Wetlands of the Eugene District BLM or <br /> on other approved lands within the greater West Eugene Wetlands area. Other sites may <br /> <br /> 'i be identified at a later date. Sites are located on varied terrain from steep to gentle slopes <br /> with various distances so that the tools will need to be packed in from the roads. <br /> 1.3 Work Hours <br /> Work hours, start/stop times for noise-making activities (power equipment maybe <br /> operated) will be between two (2) hours after sunrise until'(1) hour before sunset. <br /> 1,4 Site Security <br /> City personnel fulfilling the requirements of this Task Order can stage work based out the <br /> BLM facility at 751 South Danebo, Eugene, Oregon, and use some BLM equipment. <br /> . City personnel will be responsible to secure all tools on site in storage space provided. <br /> Staff will also be responsible to lock buildings if they are the last person leaving the <br /> office at the end of the work day. <br /> 1.5 Fire Precautions <br /> All state fire laws will be followed. <br /> Specific requirements for fire equipment may vary by local fire district. The CITY is <br /> required to check with local fire districts and furnish any equipment required by those <br /> districts. <br /> <br />
