HAA031M00 <br /> Task Order HAFOS1M07 <br /> 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> The City of Eugene will collect seed of native plants from wetland, upland prairie, and oak savanna <br /> habitats in the west Eugene area. The City may also purchase and plant native seed and propagated <br /> j plants for use in restoration, enhancement, and rehabilitation projects. The City will refine a seed <br /> collection database to track plant materials. <br /> 1.1 ACCESS/LOCATION <br /> All work areas will be at Government-approved sites. Access to sites is via all-weather roads. All <br /> sites are located in the West Eugene Wetlands (WEW) of the Eugene District BLM or on other <br /> approved lands within the greater WEW area. Sites are located on varied terrain from steep to <br /> gentle slopes with various distances so that the tools will need to be packed in from the roads. <br /> <br /> ~ 1.2 WORK HOURS <br /> Work hours, startJstop times for noise-making activities (power equipment maybe operated) will <br /> be between two 2 hours after sunrise until one 1 hour before sunset. <br /> ~ 1.3 SITE SECURITY <br /> City personnel fulfilling the requirements of this Task Order can stage work based out of the BLM <br /> facility at 751 South Danebo, Eugene, Oregon and use some BLM equipment. City personnel will <br /> be responsible to secure all tools on site in storage space provided. Staff will also be responsible to <br /> lock buildings if they are the last person leaving the office at the end of the work day. <br /> 1.4 FIRE PRECAUTIONS <br /> All state fire laws will be followed. <br /> Specific requirements for fire equipment may vary by local fire district. City of Eugene is required <br /> to check with local fire districts and furnish any equipment required by those districts. <br /> 2.0 DEFINITIONS <br /> None. <br /> 3.0 COOPERATOR-FURNISHED ITEMS <br /> Cooperator is required to furnish any tools or equipment necessary to complete the tasks identified, <br /> other than the few offered by the BLM, including hand-held GPS mapping equipment. <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br />
