AGREEMENT NO. HAA031M00 <br /> STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> TASK ORDER NO. HAF041M 04 <br /> 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> 1.1 General <br /> The City of Eugene will conduct habitat enhancement for riparian, wetland, and upland <br /> habitat types at the Delta Ponds. This work may involve, but is not be limited to: <br /> A. Engineering and design of all phases of the project, which will include: <br /> (1) Site analysis and research, <br /> (2) .Hydrologic and soil analysis, <br /> <br /> I (3) Topographic survey and mapping, <br /> (4) Process and permitting of project with all agencies, <br /> (5) Coordination with all agencies, <br /> B. Contract and project management, including advertisement, administration, and bid <br /> preparation of project, <br /> C. The removal of existing non-native vegetation that is growing on the site, <br /> D. Purchase of native plant stock, and <br /> E. Replanting native trees, shrubs, and forb species in the different habitat types. <br /> F. Removal ofnon-native plants which emerge after planting of native plants has been <br /> completed. <br /> The work will be completed by both the CITY and contractors hired by the City of <br /> Eugene through a competitive bid process. <br /> 12 <br /> Access/Location <br /> The Delta Ponds are located east of the Willamette River, north of the city center in <br /> Eugene, Oregon. The site is accessible by paved roads, but access within the sites will be <br /> limited to temporary access paths approved by the CITY. All of the restoration work to <br /> be undertaken with BLM funds will occur on City-owned land or on land on which the <br /> City has a permanent conservation easement. <br /> <br />
