We coordinate planning <br /> azid management activities within the park through interagency communication and joint <br /> staffing of the Cifizen Planmuzg Committee; ~ _ _ <br /> - - - <br /> Restoration w rk ~ ~ . <br /> o erformed in the Eu ene orti n of the ark will, <br /> p . g p o p enhance the natural <br /> <br /> ~ res arse value <br /> o s of East Alton Baker Park in its entirety. The Eastgate Woodlands does not <br /> share the same history of land use impacts-as the former.landfill area,: Thus, its riparian <br /> forest has been left more intact and healthy, ~as evidenced by. an active-heron rQOkery. By . <br /> enhancing the riparian area in the Eugene portion of the pails; a continuous healthy riparian <br /> - ~ forest can span the tiro cities; conriecting..remnant-portions of forests; anti increasing habitat - <br /> values for a variety of fish and wildlife.
