The Task Order was prepared in <br /> accordance with the Cooperative Agreement, dated July 17, 2000, between the U. S. Army Corps <br /> of Engineers and the City of Eugene for the collection of native plant materials far the Amazon <br /> Creek Section 1135 Project (enc12). <br /> Under the Cooperative Agreement, the city may use its specialized expertise, staff and <br /> facilities to collect, grow-out, store, transport, clean, and propagate native seeds and plant <br /> materials required for the project. The Cooperative Agreement also allows us to use city <br /> resources to treat. the project area for invasive non-native species. The Corps agrees to reimburse <br /> nd r the <br /> the Crty for the cost associated with that work. Specific tasks to be accomplished u e <br /> Cooperative Agreement will be spelled out in individual Task Orders. Task Order 01-01 <br /> identifies work to be accomplished during the remainder of Federal fiscal year 2001. This work <br /> is integral to the continuation of Phase II of project construction continuing this summer and fall. <br /> Funds totaling $70,000 have been obligated to cover that work. <br /> If the Task Order is acceptable, please sign and return it to us as soon as possible.
