I haven't seen a recent accounting of the available <br />balance, but believe the balance to be $3000+. I added the project code 935662 (McCready), which is a completed <br />project which last December had an account balance of about $1800. A trails account (945252) showed a balance in <br />Dec of about $2000. Considering the fund total, we should be okay for this and one or two more similar sized charges. <br />There are no plans to make charges for trail work at this time. <br />The invoices relate to the only active project at this time--the Lindholm project at Washburne Park, for which $30,000 has <br />been promised. $4000 has been received so far. There will be a construction component of $7000 - 8000, with the <br />balance ($22 - 23,000) going to a maintenance endowment. When the SB action to authorize expenditure of donations <br />received over the last several years is complete we will be able to cover new projects, such as the Lindholm--Washburne <br />project, with the earlier donations for projects which have been completed through "creative financing." <br />Once the 728 revenues are appropriated we should be able to respond easier (less creative financing) to implementing <br />current and future donated projects in a timely manner. Given what budget law currently is, we're about to make the best <br />we can of an awkward situation. <br />More for Johnny and creative financing: If we need to cover costs for the Lindholm project in excess of the current 728 <br />balance, is there another place we should be charging? Or can we bank on the probability that we'll soon have a new <br />infusion of funding and run at a deficit for a month or two? <br />And for Val: When the funds are appropropriated in SB1, can Andrea be consulted as to what accounts are appropriate <br />to create? --John <br />
