DIXON Valerie A
From: Kirsten Jones [kirstenj@teleport.com]
Sent: Tuesday, June 29, 1999 3:01 PM
To: Valerie Dixon
Cc: Russ Mecredy
Subject: Transfer from Public Art Trust Fund
Hi Valerie: I met with Russ Mecredy today about transfer to and from the
Public Art Trust Fund and the capital project fund for the Fire Training
Building:
($13,079) from Public Art Trust Fund for its share of interior concrete
slab work
( 2,743) from Public Art Trust Fund for its share of sample slab
coloring
($15,822)
7,188 from capital project fund for its share of exterior
concrete slab work
($ 8,634) Net Transfer from Public Art Trust Fund to Capital Project
Fund
On 3/31/97, Fred McDaniel did AJE-1153 which transferred $188,156 from
315-9901-93731 (offset with 315 Cash in Bank) to 731-9901-48315 (offset with
731 Cash in Bank). I guess you can ask Fred if there is a corresponding
account in Fund 731 for use as a transfer tool (there used to be). The
money has already been spent by the project, so there isn't a problem with
their needing more spending authority.
Thanks for letting me know about the additional $1,835 being transferred
from the Fire Station #5 project to the Public Art Trust Fund. It should
happen the same way as above, I think. When you get any of these requests
to transfer into the art fund, could you please let me know. I still do try
to keep track of what's going on in Fund 731, but it's harder now that
everything is online and there are no more appropriation reports to look at.
Thanks, Valerie.
