PURPOSE OF WORK ORDER CONTRACT: <br /> The purpose of this Work Order Contract (WOC) Amendment No. 1 is for Consultant (OBEC) to <br /> provide assistance to the City of Eugene and perform the necessary additional Construction <br /> Engineering and Structural Inspection tasks for construction of the Polk Street. Water Quality Vault <br /> Project (Project). This amendment does not delete or revise tasks described in the previous WOC, <br /> but provides for additional work under the structure inspection Task 2. <br /> This will involve providing additional construction engineering and structural inspection necessary To <br /> meet City of Eugene standards and to ensure conformance of the structure construction with the <br /> approved plans and specifications. Consultant's CE work tasks will include additional on site <br /> inspection of structure related construction necessary for completion of this Project... <br /> Specific work tasks related to Phase 2 -Construction Engineering include: <br /> • Continue to attend meetings with city staff to coordinate work and communication strategies. <br /> • Continue to attend progress meetings as requested by the City. <br /> • Provide additional technical inspection of structures related construction. <br /> • Continue To keep daily inspection logs for days when on-site performing inspections. <br /> • Continue to assist the City with Change order negotiation as requested. <br /> <br /> Polk Street WQ Vault - CE Services, Amendment No. 1 October 29, 2008 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />
