City shall conduct consultant selection processes to obtain AE and Non~A~E <br />personal services consultants in accordance with all applicable state and federal lags, <br />regulations and policies in the solicitation and a~vard process of any Supplemental <br />Project Agreements containing federal funds City shall folla~nr City's documented <br />processes far consultant selection, Which have been revie~ved and approved by State <br />and I~ H1111A. <br />2, Upon Britten request, State may make Region's consultant services contracts <br />available far preliminary engineering andlor aantruction engineering services far <br />City's federal~aid projects. If City chooses to use said services, City agrees to manage <br />the vuork lane by the consultant and male funds available to State fog payment of <br />those services <br />. City or others nay perform preliminary and construction engineering In the event <br />that City elects not t0 ue City's cer~rfled consultant selection process to engage the <br />services of a professional, technical and expert services consultant to perform any <br />v~rorl~ covered by this Agreement, then City and consultant may request a State <br />reviev~ed and approved personal services contract process and resulting contract <br />document. This revievu includes, but is not limited to the Request far 'ropoal, <br />Staten~er~t of lll~ark, advertisement and alb contract documents. This revie~r and <br />approval i required prior to federal reir~bursernent. City shall contact State's <br />Regional Local Agency ~iaisan to begin the revie~r process. The persana~ servicos <br />contract must be approved by State's Chief procurement officer ar designee prior to <br />beginning any ~rark.
