Section 7. Field Surface Replacement <br />City and District agree to jointfy fund the replacement costs of the artificia! surfaces <br />approximateljr in proportion to the amount of their use and impact on the surfaces. Failure to pay for a <br />pro-rata share of the replacement cost could result in a pro-rata reduction of use. <br />Section 8. Renta) Fees, Concession and Ticket Revenue <br />8.1 City and District Sponsored Events. IVeither City nor District sponsored events will have <br />a rental charge. <br />8.2 Other Reserved Use. District's rental rates shall apply to the use of the Fields. There will <br />be a rental rate for the reserved use of athletic fields, including football, soccer, softball, and baseball <br />fields. <br />8.3 Rental Revenue. All ~ental revenue will be used for maintenance and operation of or <br />custodial services for the facilities described in Section 1 of this Agreement, as mutually agreed by City <br />and District. <br />8.4 Concession and Ticket Revenue. <br />(1) Concession and ticket revenue generated by City or District sponsored events <br />shall be ~etained by the respective agency. <br />(2j District shall receive twenty percent (20%) of the gross concession and ticket <br />receipts from all events, except for those sponsored by City or District and those athletic <br />activities of approved youth sports organizations where the approved youth sports <br />organizations are the only participants. All such revenue will be used for maintenance and <br />operation of or custodial services for the facilities described in Section 1 of this Agreement, as <br />mutuaNy agreed by City and District. <br />Section 9. Field Names <br />District reserves the right to name the four artificial surface fields after consultation with City <br />and the User Committee. <br />Section 10.
