Staff Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). <br />A Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will meet as needed to provide direction and <br />make recommendations related to the products of this •Scope of Work. Members of the <br />TAC will represent the following local governments and utilities: Eugene Public Works <br />Department; Eugene Planning Department; Eugene Water:and:Electric Board (EWEB); <br />Springfield Public Works Department; Springfield Planning Division; Springfield Utility <br />Board (SUB); Rainbow Water District; Lane County Public Works Department; and Lane <br />County Land Management (by mail only). ~ <br />The TAC will guide the project, achieve consensus among implementing agencies, <br />provide technical support, review and comment on products~ coordinate internal review <br />process & draft new findings and policies. <br />Subtasks: <br />a. Develop meeting schedule and agenda topics <br />b. Coordinate meetings and mail-outs according to schedule <br />2. Establish and implement a public involvement process. ~ ' <br />Subtasks: <br />a. Prepare public involvement plan (PIP) and submit to the Joint Planning Commission <br />Committee (JPCC) for approval <br />b. Prepare and maintain interested parties mailing list <br />c. Write newsletter articles <br />d. Hold drop-in sessions/workshops <br />e. Coordinate Planning Commission meetings <br />f. Prepare display ads <br />g. Process public comments <br />h. Prepare Public Involvement Report <br />3. Conduct liter.ature and policy review. <br />Subtasks: <br />a. Review existing policy/plans and implementation measures that affect or are affected <br />by public facility planning, including current state law and rules, policy direction <br />
