Master Certification Agreement 24651 <br />City of Eugene Contract #2008-00~~0 <br />Oregon Department of Transportation <br />LGCALAGENCYCERTIFICATICN PROGRAM <br />Supplemental Project Agreement No.24689 <br />Roosevelt Boulevard: Chambers Connector to Beltline Highway <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between THE STATE GF <br />C~REGGN, acting by and through its Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to <br />as "State"; and the City of Eugene acting by and through its elected officials, hereinafter <br />referred to as "Agency", collectively referred to as "Parties." <br />RECITALS <br />1. By the authority granted in Certification Program Agreement No. 24651, incorporated <br />herein and by this reference made a part hereof, State may enter into this <br />Supplemental Project Agreement with Agency for the performance of work on this <br />improvement project. <br />2. The subject project in this Supplement Project Agreement is one of the required test <br />projects that constitute conditional certification described in Local Agency Certification <br />Program Certification Program} Agreement No. 24651. The Certification Program <br />allows State to certify a Local Agency's procedures and delegates authority to the <br />certified Lacal Agency to administer federal-aid projects that are not on the National <br />Highway System. <br />3. Roosevelt Boulevard is a part of the agency's street system under the jurisdiction and <br />control of Agency. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the premises being in general as stated in the foregoing recitals, it is <br />agreed by and between the Parties hereto as follows; <br />TERMS OFAGREEMENT <br />1. Under such authority, Agency agrees to rehabilitate the condition of pavement to a <br />2D-year pavement life; replace striping; install American with Disabilities Act DADA} <br />ramps on Roosevelt Boulevard from Chambers Connector to Beltline Highway; and <br />replace the entire structural section in areas where surface stabilization is identified as <br />a concern, hereinafter referred to as "Project". The location of the Project is shown <br />on the sketch map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by this reference made a <br />part hereaf. <br />2. The Project shall be conducted as a part of the Federal-Aid Surface Transportation <br />Program ~STP} under Title 23, United States Code. The total Project cost is <br />estimated at $2,?34,000, which is subject to change. STP~Urban funds for this <br />Project shall be limited to $1,36~,4DO. The Project will be financed with STP-Urban <br />Key # 15401 <br />
