The trees planted by <br /> NeighborW ods help to beautify and enhance the city, and are taken care of by the residents <br /> of the com unity. They water and water them for the first several years until the roots take <br /> hold. <br /> The estmoreland Park tree planting is made possible through partnerships with the <br /> <br /> + parks depa meet, Friendly Area Neighbors, Eugene Disc Golf Club, Southtowne Rotary, Boy <br /> Scouts, Ore on Landscape Contractors Association, Westmoreland Teen Center, and <br /> members o the community who are interested in planting trees. <br /> i <br /> "Weiare hoping everyone who has used the park in the last two years will consider <br /> coming to h Ip us plant, mulch and stake trees," said Locke.
