The Westmoreland Park tree <br /> planting will ccur Saturday, February 10, beginning at 9 a.m. <br /> The estmoreland Park tree planting is one of 10 plantings organized by <br /> NeighborWo ds volunteer tree planting program for the 2000-2001 planting season. <br /> NeighborWo ds is working with the Friendly Area Neighborhood and other organizations, to <br /> gather volun eers for the event. <br /> "The estmoreland Tree Planting Project offers us a way for the whole neighborhood <br /> to come tog they and revitalize this gem of a park," said Nancy Ellen Locke, an executive <br /> board memb r of the Friendly Area Neighborhood. <br /> The ity of Eugene Public Works Department, one of many sponsors of the event, is <br /> providing all he necessary tools for the event. Volunteers are needed to help with the <br /> planting, sta ing and mulching of the trees.
