POUC STREET OUTFAU_ WATER OUAUTY IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT#3984-SCOPE AMENDMENT <br />The following assumptions were used when determining the compensation to CH2M HILL <br />for services during construction. These assumptions are in addition to the scope and <br />additional services set forth in the foregoing scope of work. <br />SERVICES DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE <br />CH2M HILL will not provide any surveying. <br />Any labor and expenses required to address construction claims, unforeseen subsurface <br />considerations or additional construction requested by the Contractor or Owner would be <br />additional costs. <br />Any claims resolution or litigation assistance requested of CH2M HILL will constitute <br />additional services. <br />OWNER PROVIDED SERVICES <br />CH2M HILL will reasonably rely upon the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the <br />information provided by the Owner. <br />Owner will make its facilities accessible to CH2M HILL as required for CH2M HILL's <br />performance'of its services and will provide labor and safety equipment as required by <br />CH2M HILL for such access. <br />Owner. will give prompt notice to CH2M HILL whenever Owner observes or becomes <br />aware of any development that affects the scope or timing of CH2M HILL's services, or of <br />any defect in the work of CH2M HILL or the Contractor. <br />The Owner shall cause all agreements with the Contractor to be consistent with CH2M <br />HILL's Agreement. <br />Budget <br />This scope of services is a description of the types of services to be provided, upon request <br />. ~ by the Owner, on a lime and materials basis. Once a request is received, CH2M HILL will <br />provide a brief estimate of the cost and schedule to provide the requested services. Work <br />will be performed upon receipt of authorization, up to the maximum allowable <br />compensation limit. CH2M HILL will make efforts to notify the Owner of remaining <br />_ budget periodically. Work will cease once the allowable compensation limit has been <br />reached until additional compensation is authorized. The maximum allowable <br />' compensation limit for this time and materials agreement is $10,000. No specific budget ar <br />deliverables have been assigned to any task described herein, but will be assigned by Owner <br />request. <br />As an example, at an average billing rate of $110.00 per hour, the City would have <br />approximately 90 hours of engineering time to be allocated over the described optional <br />services. <br />The current effective CH2M HILL Rate Schedule for the City of Eugene for Contract No. <br />2005-00208 shall be used for this amendment. <br />
