POLIC STREET OUTFAU_ WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT#3984-SCOPE AMENWAENT <br />CH2M HILL will notify affected personnel of any site conditions posing an imminent <br />danger to them which CH2M HILL observes. <br />CH2M HILL is not responsible for health or safety precautions of construction workers. <br />CH2M HILL is not responsible for the Contractor's compliance with the health and safety <br />~. ~ requirements in the contract for construction, or with federal, state, and local occupational <br />safety and health laws and regulations. <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />CH2M HILL may perform miscellaneous and supplemental services related to the project. as <br />requested by the Owner, on a time and materials basis, within the maximum allowed <br />compensation cap. <br />Although the basis for payment of this amendment is time and materials, certain services <br />have been specifically excluded because of the need to develop scope of work and level of <br />effort to properly charactexize cost and schedule impacts. The following services will be <br />provided by CH2M HILL upon authorization of the Owner and agreement on scope of <br />work and compensation to CFi2M HILL. <br />Services related to procurement or management of third party contractors including testing, <br />inspection and survey firms. <br />Performance of materials testing, specialty testing and surveying services. <br />Services necessary due~o the default of the Contractor. <br />Services related to damages caused by fire, flood, earthquake or other acts of God. <br />Services related to warranty claims, enforcement and inspection. <br />Services for the investigation and analysis of contractor claims; preparation of reports on <br />contractor claims; provision of professional claims analysis services; participation in <br />litigation or alternative dispute resolution of claims. <br />Preparation for and serving as a witness in connection with any public or private hearing or <br />other forum related to the project. <br />Services supporting the Owner in public relations activities. <br />Development, coordination or participation in partnering programs. <br />,~ <br />Value engineering or similar value analysis studies. <br />Services for review and/or preparation of Owner or Contractor proposed changes to the <br />project. <br />Services to support, prepare, document, bring, defend, or assist in litigation undertaken or <br />defended by the Owner. <br />Any other services designated in this scope of services as additional services. <br />Any other services not expressly described in this scope of services. <br />5 <br />
