NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAHING <br /> AMENDMENT OF CITY OF EUGENE <br /> RULES GOVERNING USE OF MAHLON SWEET AIRPORT <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Sections 2.430 and 3.012 of the Eugene Code, 1971, Micheal D. Gleason, City <br /> Manager of the City of Eugene, intends to adopt as permanent rules the Proposed <br /> Amendment of Rules 1, 9, 10 and 11 of the Rules Governing Use of Mahlon Sweet <br /> Airport as set forth in the City Manager's Administrative Order dated the ~ day <br /> of ~ 1990, which provides: <br /> 1. That a new subsection 1.6 be added to Rule 1, Scope, requiring <br /> the rules to be administered fairly and impartially; <br /> 2. For deletion of unnecessary detail in Rule 9, Application for <br /> Permit or Lease, and more concisely defining the application process; <br /> 3. That Rule 10, Revocation of Permit or Lease be amended to <br /> clarify the process and delete repetitious phrases; and <br /> 4. That Rule 11 be amended to correct a reference to a subsection <br /> being amended in Rule 10. <br /> The Proposed Amendments to the Rules Governing Use of Mahlon Sweet <br /> Airport may be reviewed at the office of the City Manager, Room 105, City Hall, 777 <br /> Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 during normal business hours. <br /> All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their <br /> comments or objections to the City Manager, Room 105, City Hall, Eugene, Oregon <br /> 97401, in writing, within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice. <br /> If no valid comments or objections thereto are received within the prescribed time, <br /> the City Manager will, on the day of , 1990 (20 days from the date <br /> of publication of this notice), adopt the Proposed Amendments to Rules 1, 9, 10 and <br /> 11 of the Rules Governing Use of Mahlon Sweet Airport as Permanent amendments <br /> to those Rules, to become effective on the 11th day thereafter, unless within ten days <br /> from the date of adoption at least two Councilors request that the proposed amended <br /> rules, or any portion thereof, be reviewed by the Council. <br /> MICHEAL D.
