s8.4 ~ ~ 09-4 <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> CONCERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED FEES FOR <br /> RES ENTIAL PERMIT PARKING ZONE REGULATIONS SERVICES <br /> The ity Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> 1. Section 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorizes the City Manager to <br /> determine a d set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br /> municipal p perty, and licenses and permits. In accordance with the procedures set forth <br /> therein, I int nd to establish fees for processing applications for establishment and removal <br /> of residenti 1 permit parking zone designations and issuance of permits therefore as set <br /> forth in the otice of Intended Fees attached as Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by referenc . <br /> 2. I find that the proposed fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with <br /> applicable olicies and directives of the City Council; are comparable to the fees <br /> established other jurisdictions for similar services; and are necessary in order to defray <br /> the City's rsonnel costs associated with providing these services. <br /> 3. Establishment of the proposed fees is in the public interest, and it is essential <br /> for the FY9 City Budget that these rates be implemented without delay. <br /> On t e basis of these findings, I order that: <br /> 1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted <br /> at two loca 'ons at City Ha11, and be made available for interested persons at the office <br /> of the City anager, City Hall, 777 Peari Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401. <br /> 2. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as <br /> set forth in he Notice.
